Everyone, wants to look great naked. Why do you think gym memberships and weight loss centers are still around? But no matter what anyone tells you, there are 5 rules that if you follow, you will see results. Here they are, the shit that no one tells you:
1) HOW TO MOVE YOUR BODY:
This may seem super simple, but good god... The amount of people that hope to take a magic pill that will make them skinny, are NOT healthy. The only real, sure-fire way to see any results is to move your body.
-Alternate between softer, simpler and steady cardio days with interval spike days.
-On the days that you are keeping it simple, work at a steady but fairly challenging pace for about an hour. Then follow that with some weight work. Here are some of the best body weight and weight work outs for the steady cardio days:
DO THIS MORE THAN ONCE.... Nothing works if you just do it once.
-For the interval days, just keep these days to cardio. This is important so your body doesn't become overly exhausted or stressed. Intervals should make you want to throw up, that is normal. Do cardio intervals from 30-60mins on these days.
I have to say, this is one of my favorite interval style work outs. This can be done at the gym or at home, inside or outside! Just change the amount of tension on a bike or the speed that you run at outside.
2) CALORIES REALLY, REALLY DON'T MATTER THAT MUCH:
We are all constantly told that low calorie food is better for you and we should all like that so much more. But this is so FALSE! Chances are, if it is not a fruit or veggie, and it is 'low calorie' its BAD NEWS! All this means is that they have taken a certain food and chemically or genetically altered it in a way that changes the calorie content. And if that doesn't freak you out enough, remember that our bodies have been breaking down REAL food for centuries. But, our bodies don't know how to break any of this new, altered food down. So on top of the fact that this crap we are eating isn't even real food, our bodies don't break it down! This means that all the gross chemicals that we are eating just sits in our body. The body stores ALL OF THIS CRAP, as FAT until it can figure out how to break it down... so EW!

3) PICK YOUR FRIENDS WELL:
The people around you can be the most helpful and supportive people ever when it comes to changing your lifestyle, but it can also work the opposite way. Now I am not saying to ditch your best friend since second grade, I am simply saying make other friends that feel the same way that you do. It is so nice to have someone to go workout with, especially on those days that you just want to lay down for a little bit (or the rest of the day). We all have the days that getting a tooth pulled sounds more appealing than working out, but having someone else depending on you for their work out makes all the difference. When you can work out and eat right with someone else, everything becomes very easy.
Remembering that someone else is counting on you, not only helps better them. This helps you too! (:
4) JUST CAUSE YOU DON'T SEE IT YET, DOES NOT MEAN IT IS NOT WORKING:
The amount of wear and tear our bodies go through daily is incredible. Learning to appreciate that and work with your own body is going to help you see results sooner. So KEEP GOING!

5) TAKE RESPONSIBILITY FOR YOU:
If you are over weight, stop letting people tell you that its okay. YOU DESERVE BETTER! You deserve to be healthy! IT IS NOT ABOUT BEING SKINNY, ITS ABOUT BEING HEALTHY! Remember that a lot of the pictures that are shown in the media are edited, and most people do not look like that. But there is a difference between being healthy and happy and unhealthy. The most important thing is to remember that YOU deserve more and YOU need to take that responsibility. You are your own harshest critic so love yourself and remember its about health! By showing your body love, it will love you back!
